Park Place Recovery houses are a safe haven for those who must find a way out of drug and/or alcohol dependence. We are here to help those who are willing to help themselves by providing support and guidance for recovering addicts and alcoholics.
Who We areSeveral members of our staff are successfully recovering from the disease of addiction. This first hand experience with recovery through the 12 steps offers us a unique approach to assist residents with the struggles of early recovery.
We believe that no approach to be as effective in addressing chemical dependency as “one addict/alcoholic helping another.” Simply put, as the 12th step states: “Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to alcoholics/addicts, and to practice these principals in all of our affairs.” We absolutely delight in seeing our senior peers offering this vital help to each newcomer - resident or not. Our StoryOur first recovery house (Park Place) was opened in January of 2015. Our first resident moved in shortly after, and our family has continued to grow steadily since then. The focus of our program from the beginning has been to help the addict or alcoholic who often comes right from treatment to transition back into society, and learn to be fully self supporting. This atmosphere is one of brotherly support that provides those early in recovery with the tools needed to achieve long term sobriety, and ultimately help themselves succeed.
